Performing Arts at the CTC Kingshurst Academy covers three disciplines: Dance, Drama and Music.
Faculty Mission Statement
“We aim to teach, inspire and encourage students to develop personally through the creative application of skills learned.
We look at the historical, cultural and contextual elements of the performing arts and think it is important to show a broad view of the performing arts as a form of entertainment, inspiration and as an industry.
Taking part in Performing Arts enables you to develop many transferable skills to be used across the curriculum. Not only the gradual development of confidence, but the ability to work as a team member, a leader and a competent presenter.”
