Extra Curricular Enrichments
We want our students to enjoy coming to school and we provide a diverse range of enrichment opportunities for your child to be positively engaged in from 7:20 am - 5:00 pm. Through our enrichments we hope our students:
- increase their self-esteem, confidence and independence
- increase their aspirations
- take personal responsibility for themselves and maximise their attendance
- make new friends
- develop their social and life skills
- find inspiration or discover a talent that they might never otherwise have known.
Breakfast club is not solely an opportunity to eat! "Youth Club" in the gym starts at 7:20 am in which students can play pool, table tennis or computer games until 8:15 am so that they can start school on time, alert and ready to make progress.
We are aware that lunchtimes can lead to boredom. Every lunch time our students can use the astro turf at North Solihull Leisure Centre free of charge so they can enjoy physical activity and return to lessons rejuvenated and ready to make progress.
