In the biggest edition of Inside Out so far we look back on a phenomenal term that saw Inside Out scoop a prestigious award, the year 11 boys reach St Andrews, the return of Strictly, incredible community work and the arrival of Junior Master chef. Amongst all this, three serving teachers and alumni recall their formative years and National Science and Engineering week received full coverage in a four page pull out.

Our pull out section highlights Comic relief and how the whole Academy went off time table and amongst other things, broke the world record yo-yo attempt as 662 of us sought to beat the previous record. Golf, swimming and hockey success forms the focus of this term's sporting section. Finally, we pay tribute to Carol Whittall, an extremely popular catering manager who made an enormous contribution to college life and is sorely missed by all of us.

Year Ten leisure and Tourism students enjoy a taster day in the industry while the year ten football team continue their 100% unbeaten run and challenge for national honours.

The edition is packed with articles highlighting the successes of our students and staff over the past few months. Recognition of our exceptional opportunities for students is further reinforced as we look at educational visits to Zambia and Ecuador. Our sports teams go from strength to strength, as do our performing artists who have not stopped providing excellent music, drama and dance for a wide range of events over the course of the term. In another very successful term for fund raising we highlight a plethora of charitable work undertaken.
